Italian Wine Brands held its first company-wide convention on Friday 22 May at the Palazzo della Gran Guardia in Verona, under the title “We, creators of excellence”.

For the first time, the entire IWB community came together in the same place at the same time: nearly 400 Group employees filled the venue, including winemakers, sales teams, office staff, managers and colleagues from all Italian offices, alongside employees connected remotely from the company’s international offices in the United States, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.

In the presence of the entire top management team, Chairman Alessandro Mutinelli opened the event by speaking about the Group’s results, identity and future. Today, IWB represents six companies, more than 70 proprietary brands and around 160 million bottles distributed across more than 95 countries worldwide.

“We live in a complex world that is changing extremely quickly. That is why I want to make one thing very clear: Italian Wine Brands is a safe place. Not because everything is easy, but because it is a strong company, built over time on solid foundations. And it is so thanks to you. Thanks to us. Because the story of IWB is not the journey of a lone hero, but the journey of a team.”

Vice Chairman Giorgio Pizzolo focused on a future shaped by clear strategic choices. “In a context where markets, regulations and technologies are evolving rapidly, IWB has chosen to invest in order to make the company stronger tomorrow than it is today. Markets and the world are changing fast, and investing means becoming stronger, with greater quality and security, while creating an even better working environment capable of bringing wellbeing and confidence to the people who work every day for our Group. Because what matters is not only being here today, but also being here in five, ten or twenty years’ time.”

The event was not only an opportunity to share updates on investments and development plans, but above all a tangible message: IWB grows together, looks ahead and does so with the people who build excellence every single day.
