The wine was produced by the IWB-owned Cantina di Torricella.
Ronco di Sassi is one of IWB’s most celebrated wines, having received a number of awards in important competitions around the world.
Alessandro Mutinelli, CEO of Italian Wine Brands, stated the following: “We are constantly travelling around the world to find out what people want and to supply the best wines to the greatest number of wine lovers. Switzerland loves Italian wine, making it the perfect market for the launch of our new Ronco di Sassi label. Produced only during the very best vintage years, Ronco di Sassi is a premium IWB Apulian wine label and has grown in popularity by over 15% on all international markets.”
Back in 2017, Ronco di Sassi launched a limited edition Primitivo Appassimento made from dried grapes during the best vintage years. The label was shortly followed by the first ever Ronco di Sassi white wine, featuring a well-defined, appealing bouquet with a distinct hint of spice and citrus.
